Art Buote raised the the prize for top fundraiser in the 2011 Tip 2 Tip – a 32” flat screen TV donated by Leon’s! See Art here.

What: A three day biking adventure, “Tip to Tip for Africa 2011″ will follow the Confederation Trail on Prince Edward Island. All meals and accommodation for the three days and two nights are included as well as great Island entertainment!

Why: To raise funds for the Townships Project and Mikinduri Children of Hope.

When: Staring at Tignish and ending in Elmira in early October 2012!

Where: Buses will leave Charlottetown to take riders and their bikes to Tignish where the ride will start. It will finish at Elmira at about 2:30pm on Monday and riders will be bussed back to Charlottetown.

Who: Anyone and everyone over 18 (anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian)

Cost: $200 non refundable, non tax receiptable registration fee (Covers your accommodation, meals and travel costs), plus $600.00 in tax receiptable donations ($400 for students) to the Townships Project and Mikinduri Children of Hope.

Register Pay and Donate – Please register by completing our online registration form. You can pay your $200 entry fee and donate in support of friends by using our PayPal to the right. If you are donating for a friend please look for the prompt to Donation in support of so that we can ensure that they get credit for your donation. Your supporter who uses PayPal will get a receipt from PayPal. Please ask them to email it to you too so that you can keep track. Amanda at Tip to Tip will also get a copy and have a record.

The person with the largest amount of donations will win a Toshiba 32″ LCD TV with a value of nearly $500, donated from Leon’s!!
